eTravelogue - Terms of Contest

The following rules apply to the eTravelogue.com Photo Contest. You must agree to these terms in order to enter the contest.

All submissions become the property of eTravelogue and can be used as we wish, including but not limited to the use of the image in our freely distributed screen savers. Contestants relenquish all rights to photographs submitted to this contest.
No purchase is necessary to enter this contest.
This contest beings at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time May 26, 2008, and is open to any individual who is the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, 18 years old or older as of May 26, 2008 and who is a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and the other territories and possessions of the United States) and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec).
Winners are chosen at our sole discretion based on how well the photographs promote eTravelogue.com and convey the concept of this website.
Entries must promintently display the eTravelogue logo and/or website address in a setting that fits the content of this website. For example: national parks, roadside attractions, sport venue entrance gates, etc.
Entries must be in the form of a JPG, GIF or PNG file of at least 800 X 600 pixels.
Entries must be placed via email to contest@eTravelogue.com and must contain the name and contact information of the entrant. Contact information must include at least the entrant's valid email address.
There may be only one (1) grand prize winner for this contest. The grand prize for this contest is a single ExxonMobil gift card at $100 in value. A substitute prize of comparable approximate value may be chosen at our sole discrection.
You may make as many submissions as you like, but only one submission will be considered per photograph. This means that if you submit a photo today and the same photo tomorrow, it only counts for one submission. If you submit a different photo tomorrow, it counts as a second submission.
There may be up to ten (10) runner-up prize winners for this contest. The runner-up prize is a single T-Shirt bearing the eTravelogue logo and website address. The T-Shirt is only available in one size: XL. A substitute prize may be chosen at our sole discrection.
This contest ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time, September 15, 2008. Entries must be received before this time.
Contestants are also bound by the terms of use of this website.
The grand prize will be shipped by registered US mail. Runner up prizes will be sent by First Class US mail.
The decision of the judges is final and binding in all regards. The winner will be notified by e-mail within approximately two weeks after the winner has been selected. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
No support, warranty, or guarantee of any kind is made nor provided with any of the prizes.
eTravelogue reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or cancel all or any portions of the contest because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the contest in any manner. eTravelogue also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason.
By entering the contest, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless eTravelogue, Internet Publications Corporation, respective affiliates and subsidiaries from and against any and all claims, damages, injuries, deaths, losses, rights, causes of action, actions, suits, debts, sums of money, or other liabilities, either at law or equity, whether known or unknown, asserted or non-asserted, arising from or in any way relating to entrants’ participation in the contest, the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, or the use of any entry. You represent and warrant that you have the full right and authority to grant the rights granted herein and that your agreement to the terms hereof does not conflict with any existing commitment on your part.
